About Dr. Martin Dramou (President)

Prof. Martin Dramou is the Founder and the President of PATHS University of Africa. In the present contest of the 21st century, Africa has quietly embraced globalization and emerging technology as a simple consumer. To become a consumer and provider, I believe that the nature, identity, and objective of African higher educations need to be adapted to these realities. Pro. Dramou was born and raised in a small village called Tamoe in Guinea-West Africa. His interest in education developed at an early age when he became obsessed with school activities such as tutoring other students, summer school programing, helping his elementary, middle, and high school teachers, and he was the captain of his high school soccer team. He attended the elementary school of Tamoe his native village, the Boys Catholic Middle school, Jean De La Mennais Catholic High school in Ivory Coast where he was the president of the student council.

Dr. Dramou attended the elementary school of Tamoe his native village, the Boys Catholic Middle school, Jean De La Mennais Catholic High school in Ivory Coast where he was the president of the student council. He attended Douala University of Cameroon where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Math and his master’s degree in finance. From Cameroun, he went back to Guinea and worked for USAID / AED (Academy for Educational Development) for 5 years. He immigrated in the US and attended the University of Phoenix where he earned a master’s degree in human resources management and went to Grand Canyon University where he earned his doctorate degree in higher educational leadership. He currently lives in Clayton, NC with his wife Elisabeth and their children Martine, Jean-Abel, Lucien, and Jeannine. Dramou has an important experience in teaching mathematics with a remarkable knowledge of mathematics curriculum. He has over 25 years of experience teaching to diverse students. He effectively handles issues with professionalism. He is a great listener; he is understanding and effective in communication.
Dr. Dramou is the President of PATHS University of Africa. He believes that the nature, identity, and objective of African higher education need to be adapted to the concepts of globalization and the emerging technology as Africa has quietly embrace these realities. With his board and administrators, they have created a focused curriculum that blends the bests of Anglophone and Franco-phone learning with African settings. His vision will help undergraduates and graduates identify problems and proffer solutions for the best of their communities. His goals consist of creating a strategic partnership between PATHS University of Africa, industries, school systems, and governments to develop African countries. He also wants to improve the level of productivity in the transformation of African primary products to industrial goods. Dr. Dramou has advanced Paths university’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research, creating employments, promoting public service, and fostering partnership between PATHS University and other universities.
